Deer, Land, Training and Travel
In 2021 was asked to appear on Into the Wild where I was interviewed by host Ryan Dalton on a range on topics centered around the use of hunting in conservation. You can listen here…
I’m not sure if a webinar counts as a video or a podcast, I figured it was probably closer to a podcast so I’ll share it here! I took part in the British Deer Society’s webinar: The Debate Over Lead and Copper Ammunition in 2020 alongside other voices within the sector. It was a fascinating debate and hopefully useful to listeners to get an idea of the way the materials we use for humane dispatch and changing. You can listen to it here.
I was interviewed on Radio Scotland’s Mornings, With Stephen Jardine, both to ask about my career in land management, but also to give an opinion on the infamous “Goat Gate” incident from 2018.
An article following the interview can be found here.
I was also interviewed for a podcast by Jez Fredenburgh at the Rural Youth Project, alongside Dusty Zamecnik, a Canadian strawberry farmer and brewer, Lauren Aitchison, a Scottish psychology graduate and rural entrepreneur; Dirk-Jan Kloet, a Dutch agricultural entrepreneur, on the ups and downs of being a young person growing up in rural areas.
